Keep Raw Sewage Out of New York City’s Waterways!

Billions of gallons of raw sewage, pet waste, trash, and polluted runoff ends up in many of our beloved New York City waterways every year.

But the New York City Department of Environmental Protection only plans to reduce this waste by 2 to 4 percent. That means that more than 10 billion gallons of waste will continue to pour into those waterways each year.

Tell Governor Andrew Cuomo, Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York City and state decision-makers that this has to change — it’s time to keep our waterways clean for New Yorkers to swim, boat, and fish in.
