Montana’s grizzly bears have fought back from the brink of extinction, due in large part to the Endangered Species Act.
As their population has expanded, so has the prospect of grizzlies one day being delisted from the ESA. If that happens, grizzly bear management will be taken over by the states — and the great bears could be subjected to hunting.
Submit an urgent comment to the Montana Grizzly Advisory Council urging them to recommend important conservation measures for Montana’s grizzlies — not a hunting season.
