The Trump administration is preparing to take another swipe at the Endangered Species Act. This time, they’re proposing to add a new definition of “habitat” that would leave areas important to imperiled species’ survival and recovery open to exploitation by big polluters, like oil and gas companies, and mining companies.
This reckless proposal would make it easier for the drilling, mining, and logging industries to destroy fragile wildlife habitats and drive our most threatened species to the brink of extinction.
We need to make a lot of noise to stop this: Before the September 4 deadline, submit a public comment OPPOSING this insidious proposal and put a stop to Trump’s continued attack on the Endangered Species Act.
