Tell President Biden: Shut Down the Climate-Busting Line 3 Tar Sands and Dakota Access Pipelines

The Line 3 and Dakota Access pipelines will wreak havoc on our climate and our environment — and derail our path towards a 100% clean energy future if they’re allowed to move forward. And they violate decades-old land treaties with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and Anishinaabe people, who have been on the frontlines fighting these fossil fuel monstrosities for years.

Both pipelines are moving forward in violation of bedrock environmental laws, without legal permits or environmental reviews, and in direct threat to the sovereignty of Indigenous communities, and the sanctity of Indigenous lands and waterways.

The Biden administration has already shut down the Keystone XL pipeline. Now, they must follow suit by shutting down DAPL and stopping construction on Line 3 — at least until proper environmental analyses are conducted on both projects.

Please, submit an urgent letter to the Biden-Harris administration calling on them to shut down DAPL and Line 3 and prevent any more disastrous pipelines from seeing the light of day.
