Help get rid of lead in Illinois’ drinking water

Illinois has more lead service lines than any other state, putting millions of people at risk of exposure to toxic, lead-contaminated drinking water. And Black and Latinx Illinoisans are twice as likely to live in communities with lead service lines than white residents are.

Fortunately, the Illinois General Assembly is considering a bill RIGHT NOW that would mandate that water utilities begin the process of replacing all the lead service lines within the state.

Tell your state senator to support the Lead Service Line Replacement and Notification Act (HB 3739) to get lead service lines out of the state and to protect Illinois families.
