Transportation is the biggest source of climate-busting carbon pollution in Colorado. But thankfully, Colorado state leaders are proposing a new greenhouse gas reduction rule that would cut climate-warming pollution from the transportation sector and improve air quality in a BIG way.

Transportation is the biggest source of climate-busting carbon pollution in Colorado — and passenger cars and commercial trucks are a leading cause of the state's poor air quality.

So, if we want to tackle climate change and clean up our air, we NEED to reduce pollution from transportation and invest in cleaner, more sustainable ways for people to get around communities.

Thankfully, the Colorado Department of Transportation is proposing a new greenhouse gas reduction rule that would cut climate-warming pollution from the transportation sector and improve air quality in a BIG way.

State officials are seeking public comments until October 15, so we must ensure that Coloradans across the state make their voices heard ASAP.

We need Colorado's leaders to meet the urgency of the moment and invest in changes TODAY that will protect all Coloradans, advance environmental justice, and provide a more livable climate and environment for generations to come.
