The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is planning a huge investment in their next generation of delivery trucks.
USPS operates THE largest fleet of government vehicles in the U.S. There are nearly 250,000 delivery trucks and almost all of them are conventional gas-guzzlers — some get an abysmal 10 miles per gallon.
Congress has promised to deliver the funding necessary to help USPS transition to EVs, which will help fight climate change and deliver major savings in fuel costs to the financially struggling agency. Now, we must escalate pressure on USPS to follow through and do its part to fight climate change.
Send an urgent message imploring USPS to transition to 100% electric vehicles (EVs) as quickly as possible to help combat the climate crisis.
