I'm very concerned about climate change and its impacts on my state and the nation. The crisis in Ukraine has underscored how reckless it is for the U.S., Europe, and the world to be dependent on fossil fuels and beholden to the fossil fuel industry. I'm counting on you to keep working to come to a consensus on legislation that includes meaningful climate action, creates clean energy jobs, and supports communities that have historically been hit hardest by climate impacts.

We must reduce emissions by at least 50-52% by the end of the decade if we are to avert climate catastrophe. So we need strong legislation that will:

-	Accelerate our transition to a 100% clean energy future
-	Create high-quality clean energy jobs 
-	Ensure safe, lead-free drinking water for all
-	Clean up dirty power plants
-	Get more electric cars and trucks on the roads

We can't wait any longer to address the crisis, and failure is not an option. Thank you for doing your part for our future.
