Governor: It's Time to Modernize Our Transportation System

Transportation is the number one source of climate changing carbon pollution in America.

But luckily states and cities across the nation are stepping up. Last year, the governors of Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia, and the mayor of Washington, D.C., made a groundbreaking commitment to modernize the transportation sector to fight climate change and gridlock on our roads.

Now it's time for the rubber to meet the road: These leaders and their administrations are working to develop what this plan will look like.

Send your governor a message asking them to commit to a transportation plan bold and ambitious enough to cut harmful transportation pollution at the scale needed to avert the climate crisis.
