And new chains like Shake Shack and BurgerFi are already serving only beef raised without antibiotics in their restaurants. Wendy's can help accelerate an industry-wide shift away from antibiotic overuse in beef if it follows its competitors' lead. We need Wendy's to prioritize public health and commit to sourcing all of its beef from suppliers that only use medically important antibiotics when animals are sick, not on a routine basis.
